Back in Time

I have always loved the glamour of the 1920’s: ornate dresses and long strands of pearls, everything looked so put-together and luxurious.

Several weeks ago, I was looking through the attic at my parents’ house and came across several articles of clothing belonging to my late great-grandmother. They were so perfectly tailored and exquisite, unlike any clothes sold in today’s world.

Naturally, I wanted to make an outfit using my two favorite pieces, a black textured cocktail jacket and a long strand of jet-black beads. I incorporated them into a look that is vintage yet modern, and much like my great-grandmother herself, very chic.

Take a look!
