Menswear 2.0

Let’s talk menswear.

Yes, an edgy combat boot or tailored blazer always complements an outfit, but isn’t it time we reinvented this trend and gave it a fresh look for 2015? Why not, instead of wearing clothes inspired by men’s style, actually incorporate male clothing into our wardrobes?

This season, go shopping in your dad’s, brother’s, or even boyfriend’s closet for inspiration. I find that men’s clothing is often more well-made and more luxurious than pieces in the women’s section, and fairly easy to include in an outfit.

For some motivation, I’ve put together three looks using clothing and accessories I found in my father’s closet. Enjoy!

Hopefully this gives you some inspiration to put a new spin on an old trend. As always, photographed by Melanie – check out her blog here
