The holidays haven’t ended just yet! New Year’s Eve is almost upon us – one night to let go of regret, make new promises, and ring in the New Year with your closest friends. Or, if you’ll be in New York City, ten thousand of your closest friends.
However you’ll be celebrating, a good outfit is imperative- you want a look that will be remembered long into 2015. To help you make a killer impression, I put together two of my favorite party looks that are modern yet festive for some inspiration. And, of course, Happy New Year!
I love a good plaid print for the holidays, and this dress is definitely eye-catching. For nighttime, I paired it with some comfy black black booties and low socks. I love how the delicate gold accessories contrast the industrial plaid to keep the look interesting.
Dress: Final Touch; Booties: Anne Klein; Clutch: Francesca’s
How can a girl go wrong in black and white? This look is perfect for a more formal setting, and the covered-up top keeps it modest. For some shine, I added a cute bow-adorned bracelet and a long necklace.
Blouse: Nordstrom; Skirt: Old Navy; Shoes: Audrey Brooke; Bangle: Kate Spade
Be safe and have fun this New Year’s Eve! And a huge thank you to Melanie for shooting this! Find her blog here: authenticadventurers.blogspot.com
